Air, sea, coach or rail will see the Red and Green Channel Information above the Examination in the Arrival at the respective checkpoint. If in doubt, proceed to a checkpoint manned by an Immigration .

When to use the Red Channel
to the Red Channel if you carry:
• Prohibited items
• Controlled or restricted items
• Taxable or dutiable items
At the Red Channel, please:
• orally to the officers any of the above-stated items that you carry.
• Produce the prohibited or controlled items together with the import , if any.

When to choose the Green Channel
Proceed to the Green Channel if you do not carry any of the 3 types of items stated above. However, the officers may still selective checks at the Green Channel. If in doubt, always at the Red Channel.
