Hello Tom,

I've done as you requested and investigated James Foley's past, though I've not had time to discover a great deal. Attached is a short file which gives the official story about him, but it's not very helpful. He's quite a flamboyant character and is, of course, very well known in the fashion world. His family was already wealthy, but he's increased that wealth considerably. Thanks to his modelling agency, but also to interests he has in advertising, cosmetics and film productions he's one of the richest men in Britain. According to reliable sources, he's very likely to be knighted in the next New Year's honours list.

Foley is obviously a remarkable businessman, with a very fine sense of public relations, but in fact he started by studying medicine and his only setback in an otherwise highly successful career was when he dropped out of medical school. In fact it seems he was expelled, though the circumstances are somewhat obscure. I'm looking into this further, and will let you know as soon as I have something definite.

Like you, I'm convinced there's a link between Judy's death and Beautiful Babes, but I have no firm evidence to support that belief. All I know is that Ben was investigating this case, and he's disappeared. A talented reporter like Ben doesn't suddenly disappear for no reason. If any criminal offence has been committed, The Move and The Limit will be the first to denounce it. But our first priority is to find Ben and bring him back safe and sound. I'm relying on you, Tom.
